Today my mom had a Halloween party at here house. The boys wore their costumes and Brian and I went along. When we got there we were asked to go down to the costume box and find a costume of our own. Then we all went on a costume parade.
Amanda: an Indian--Dan: a cow--Jayne (Spencer's friend): a ladybug--Emily: Velma from Scooby Doo.
Sam: a race car driver--Tom: black Spiderman--Mary: a princess--Charlie: Iron Man
The devil (my dad), Me (a jack-o-lantern), Brian (the ace of hearts), Dan (a doctor), Dan (a cow)
Emily and Me.
After the parade, we went back inside and the kids made great noise makers. The decorated a plate and put jingle bells inside then attached another plate.
Charlie was taking a break during the decorating part. My dad was helping him and put the stickers on his plate and when we got back to check on the progress, he was upset that there were too many stickers and not in the right place. Maybe he should have stayed and helped.
I was helping put Mary's shaker together. Brian got hold of the camera and took the pictures.
Now Charlie is ready to work on his. He helped my mom thread the ribbon to hold the plates together.
We played stick the nose on the pumpkin. Charlie went first and he got closest to putting the nose in the right spot.
Tom went later, but and wasn't close. He of course used his hands to feel if it was close to the right spot.
The next game was throwing orange jack-o-lantern ping-pong balls through the cardboard cut-out. Thomas tried to bounce the balls to get them up to the different cut-outs.
Charlie did really well, but he didn't want anyone to take his picture. I had to put the camera through the cut-out to get this shot. After our games we made some yummy desert treats and then at chili and grilled cheese sandwiches. We had a super fun Halloween party!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
